Here at BT Global Services, we’ve firmly established ourselves as a leader in managed networked IT services working across an exciting and diverse range of industries. Our people are nothing if not passionate about the work they do – and its important work at that. We’ve had a strong presence in the US and Canada for more than 30 years now. Here we’re committed to serving more than 1,000 customers in the region, including 71 percent of the Fortune 1000 and 82 percent of the Fortune Global 500.

We’ve also been operating in Latin America since 2002, headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Our commercial and operational capabilities across two Latin American markets enable us to offer a fantastic range of networked IT services. Today we serve over 1,300 corporations and government departments who need crucial networked IT services in multiple locations across the region and around the entire globe.

About the programme

Our Global Services Graduate programme in the Americas is designed to enhance your leadership skills and get you feeling confident enough to really take charge in this part of the business. Roles are varied, but all have a strong focus on business management. Our end goal for graduates is to develop each and everyone one of you into top notch General Manager material.

The programme is rotational, providing 4x6 month assignments (rotations) – each focusing on key areas of our business. Expect to develop a wealth of knowledge and get ready to absorb everything you can! Each rotation could be in areas including Delivery, Sales, Contract and Business Management and Commercial Operations.

As if that wasn’t enough to soak up, you’ll also have all of the training, career advice, encouragement, nurturing and support you could ever wish for to really kick-start your new career with a bang. Our core graduate training is made up of 20 days across each year. Over two years you’ll be laying a solid foundation for a career which can lead to a senior leadership role at BT – what could be better! At the end of your time on our programme, your breadth of knowledge and brand new skillset will put you in fantastic stead for a challenging and rewarding role in our very own business.

What we look for

There are many opportunities here at BT, in more countries than you might think!

It’s important to remember that you must have the permanent legal right to work within the country you are applying.

Here’s the finer detail when it comes to each country’s programme requirements – have a careful read through to see which ones you could be suitable for.

US

  • At least 3.0 GPA (cumulative) in your Undergraduate Degree
  • The permanent legal right to work in the US
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Geographic flexibility within the US

Latin America

Entry requirements for Colombia:

  • A minimum 3.5 in your Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Economics or Industrial Engineering, production engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering/electronics, or engineering in Telecommunications
  • The legal right to work in Colombia
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be prepared to be based in Bogota  

Entry requirements for Brazil:

  • A minimum 7/10 in your Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Economics or Industrial Engineering
  • The legal right to work in Brazil
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be prepared to be based in Sao Paulo.  

Entry requirements for Argentina:

  • A minimum 7/10 in your Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electronics, or Engineering in Telecommunications
  • The legal right to work in Argentina
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be prepared to be based in Buenos Aires. 

Entry requirements for Mexico:

  • A minimum 7/10 in your Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electronics, or Engineering in Telecommunications
  • The legal right to work in Mexico
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be prepared to be based in Mexico City. 

What we offer

US

We offer a competitive starting salary of $55,000. On top of that, you also receive:

Latin America
